Today is World Diabetes Day, and in my own little diabetes world there is some excitement. Because I’m prepping for training first thing tomorrow on this . . . .
It’s taken every bit of willpower I have not to just tear open the boxes and wing it. But I know it’s important to be properly trained . . . . so I will. Tomorrow. Yay!!

How cool! I can't wait to read about your experience!
ReplyDeleteHappy WDD!
I know when my Animas Ping showed up on my door step I caved and started it on my own. Even though I knew I should not but the Dr. was quite impressed because all the setting were correct.
ReplyDeleteYay you!!
ReplyDeleteKaren, I am dying to hear about this! Maybe you could send a tweet the first time you hit the threshold suspend? Though I wouldn't wish that scenario on you at all. So hopefully, I'll never see a tweet about it.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'll stop talking now. Good luck with the new tools!
You're better than me. I would for sure rip it out and "wing it".
ReplyDeleteYay! New pump! I'm starting pumping on Tuesday (already did my saline trial), and I've had to hide the pump in a cabinet to keep myself from going squirrelly in anticipation.
ReplyDeleteI have been using mine.for 2 weeks and think it has been going great. However, I have nothing to compare to as I was only recently diagnosed (9/23/13). Can't wait to hear your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI am so curious about the sensor accuracy!!!
ReplyDeleteYay! How exciting :)
ReplyDeleteHow are you liking the new pump and CGM system? I have a Minimed Paradigm and I'm looking at getting a Dexcom because personally I'm not too thrilled with Medtronic so I don't really want to go with their CGM. I'm just looking for other opinions. Thanks!
