Wordless Wednesday - Bad Night
Or perhaps I should say “Bad Site”. Although I’m not entirely sure that was the cause - it's still a mystery. It took me until almost 3 a.m. to get it below 200. Today? Feeling terrible.

:( I'm sorry that you are feeling terrible. Hope the new site did the trick and you will be feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon. Those whacky BS's tend to really suck the energy out of us.
ReplyDeleteUgh! Hope all is better now!
ReplyDeleteI had the exact same day yesterday as you did. I couldn't get my bg under 300. I changed my site and injected insulin....nothing. It's so frustrating! There must have been something in the air ;)
ReplyDeleteBlerg! This happened to me a few weeks ago. Sometimes it's annoying when technology hinders us despite how hard we work. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteStupid Diabetes!
ReplyDeleteThat stinks Karen. I'm sorry.
ReplyDeleteKaren, do you have problems with scar tissue? I'm sure you rotate sites, and do not use an infusion set longer than 3 days, but scarring can still occur. I was never told about site rotation and scarring for so many years, so I have permanent scar tissue on certain parts of my body. If I hit an unexpected pocket of scar tissue, I have to move my site over a couple of inches. That is easy to do with the Sure-T infusion sets. I pull out the 6 mm metal needle, move it over, and tape it down with paper tape. I am allergic to the glue on that tape, so I use Skin Prep beforehand. By relocating the same set, I never waste any of them.
