One of the things I love most about Twitter is that I often find myself in a totally silly and very entertaining conversation that leaves me giggling long after I’ve shut down the computer. One of these silly conversations happened a week or so ago and, believe it or not, it was all about glucose tablets. It started innocently enough, with a tweet from
Brian pondering which flavor glucose tabs he should order:
And a bunch of us started voicing our opinions on our favorite glucose tablet flavors, and on flavors we wish existed. Before we knew it,
Bennet had a brilliant brainstorm:
And then it got
really silly really fun!! We settled on the categories of Best Flavor, Worst Flavor and Strangest Flavor. Nominations began flying in from
Alecia,
Briley,
Bennet,
Kelly,
Brian and
me. (I also tagged
@GlucoLift and barraged poor
Christopher with our flavor inspirations!!)
But hey, we want to make sure the whole DOC can voice their opinions on glucose tablet flavors. So Bennet came up with
The Great Glucose Tab Survey of 2012!! He put together a clever and funny little survey that we hope everyone will take a few seconds to answer. It contains all of the brilliant, silly and downright gross suggestions, along with spaces for your own tab flavor creations. Are you game?? Click below and make your vote count!!
Oh, I am SO game for this one! Taking it now!....
ReplyDeleteHaha! You guys are NUTS! But I love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is totally off topic, Karen, but HOW did you get images of your tweets? I tried to do that the other day by doing "print screen" but the resolution was too low to use. Please tell me how you did that! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteHi Janet!! I do use "print screen" too. Then I paste it in my photo editing software (I use PaintShop Pro), crop it, and save it as a jpeg file. Does that help at all?
DeleteHi Janet, if you use WordPress on your blog (and it looks like you do), you can click the time-stamp (the "5m", "11h", "24 Sep", or whatever) and copy the URL of that page. Paste it, as its own line WITHOUT HYPERLINKS in the WordPress editor (you may need to use Text-view instead of Visual-view to do this). The WordPress gods will somehow re-code that into an embedded Tweet. Good luck!
Deletestarted as a legitimate question and snowballed into craziness! i love it!!!
ReplyDeleteso taking the survey!
I seriously can't wait to see the results of this survey!
ReplyDeleteI took the survey but I can promise you that my results are not scientifically accurate :D
ReplyDeleteSarcasm FTW.
The best part of the screen shots is you guys did not actually see the full shenanigans of what we accomplished or did not accomplish. Fun was had by all.
ReplyDeletei'm forwarding this survey to my kid, i'm sure she'll get a kick out of it! :)
